Suzanne has a B.S. Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting. She started her career as a staff accountant with Brock & Beasley in 1988. She then went to work for McKenzie Construction from 1996 to 1999 where she continued her profession working with accounts payable, payroll, general bookkeeping and certified payroll. After three years in the construction field Suzanne decided to return to the Public Accounting arena. She went to work for Strickland & Jones, P.C. from 1999 to 2007. During her employment with Strickland & Jones Suzanne became a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. She is delighted to work with a product that is so user friendly and yet so inclusive it can meet the needs of most small businesses.
Suzanne is currently working for Colby & Company, PLC in Chesapeake, VA as a Staff Accountant and Consultant. She has continued to teach, train and advise clients regarding Quickbooks. In the past few years Suzanne has had the opportunity to work with another software program called Sunburst. This software allows the user to continue their use of Quickbooks for its ease in preparing payroll, etc., and then import that information into Sunburst to prepare certified payroll reports and AIA billing, required for government jobs.

Mr. Johnson was born in Tampa, FL. He attended Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut and joined the Air Force a year after graduation. He served as an Aircraft Refueling Specialist and Technical Instructor for 14 years. During this period, he obtained a Master Training Instructor rating and was appointed as supervisor of the Air Force Fuels Specialist Training School. As an enlisted member in the Air Force, he attended college during his off duty time, graduating from Eastern Illinois University in December 1979. Captain Johnson was selected as the Air Force’s Administrative Officer of the Year. Major Johnson retired from the Air Force after 28 years of honorable service. After separating from the Air Force, Mr. Johnson was employed as an Enforcement Specialist with
the Division of Child Support in Newport News, VA. In 1995, he was hired by Social Security as a Claims Representative.
He currently serves as the Tidewater Area Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Safe Haven and Director for the American Independence Foundation of Colonial Virginia, organizations which support the well-being and education of children. Mr. Johnson has been recognized by the governor of North Carolina and as Social Security Administration’s Volunteer of the Year for his community involvement. Finally, G.I. Jobs magazine featured his story for his distinguished military and civilian careers.
His educational accomplishments include Associates Degrees in Petroleum Distribution and Instructor Technology, a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts and a Master Degree in Public
Administration. He has also completed numerous other technical courses.
