Darrell began his career at the University of Virginia as Director of Payroll at the University of Virginia Medical Center.  He is currenlty the Assistant Vice President Human Resources at  at the University of Virginia.  Darrell oversees payroll, employee benefits, HR information management & technology, human resource consulting service, HR service center, executive management search group, university temp service and the Office of Human Resources Compliance.  He also supervises the payment and reconciliation of all University employment taxes, benefit payments and various vendor payments.   Darrell has over 34 years of experience in developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating payroll/ benefit programs, systems, and departments.

Mr. Kozuch holds a B.S. in Accounting from Alderson-Broaddus College.  He is a member of the American Payroll Association.
